Told & Snaps is a classic Danish ‘smørrebrød’ restaurant in the heart of Copenhagen. Our cozy restaurant is located in Toldbodgade by Nyhavn and is open for lunch every day. We serve classic smørrebrød with a focus on fresh, high quality ingredients where the majority are organic.

The traditional smørrebrød is always a guaranteed winner for lunch. At Told & Snaps there is plenty to choose from on the menu: From old-fashioned pickled herring and hand-shelled shrimps with homemade mayonnaise to butter-fried beef tartare with freshly shredded horseradish, which will make tears of joy pop in your eyes. Snaps
We make everything from classic Danish snaps such as bog myrtle, walnut and traditional herb-infused snaps, to more adventurous varieties featuring horseradish, beer or black pepper. We also offer milder flavours such as aronia berries, apple and cherry.
Our homemade snaps are made using an organic base spirit.
